Khloe Kardashian and her husband of three weeks (and acquaintance of nearly two months), Lakers forward Lamar Odom, have reached a prenuptial agreement and will sign their marriage license this week, according to sources. E! threw a lavish wedding for the couple Sept. 27, but they were not legally married at that time because the prenup wasn't worked out yet. We are, frankly, a little surprised that the relationship lasted long enough for lawyers to work out all the details, what with the lightning-quick courtship and, of course, the fact that the whole thing seemed like a promotional stunt for Keeping Up With the Kardashians. According to TMZ, the prenup dictates that Lamar's salary from the Lakers—he is expected to earn up to $33 million over the next four years—will not be community property, meaning that Khloe can't touch it if they break up. The source contradicts earlier reports that said Khloe was demanding a settlement of $500,000 for each year of marriage in the case of a divorce. The TMZ report now says that she will get a set amount of money if they divorce, and that amount will not increase or decrease depending on the length of the marriage. She'll also get to keep the house and receive monthly support payments in the neighborhood of $25,000. Yes, monthly. Ponder that over a Cup O' Noodles sometime.
So now that Khloe and Lamar are officially married, we can start the countdown clock on their next publicity stunt, er, first child. Lamar already has two children from a previous relationship, but this would be the first baby for Khloe and second grandchild for her parents, Kris and Bruce Jenner. And we assume Khloe will appear on yet another tabloid cover wearing a bikini, and shrieking about how she's not fat, she's pregnant, and have you seen how tall Lamar is? Of course the fetus is the size of a llama.
Khloe's sister Kourtney is expecting a baby at the end of the year, and over the weekend got a nasty shock no pregnant lady needs: Her Calabasas, Ca. townhouse was robbed of thousands of dollars' worth of jewelry, including some vintage pieces her late father, O.J. Simpson lawyer Robert Kardashian, left her. Well now. That sucks. Also, Kim and Reggie Bush are back together. And all of New Orleans's problems are solved!
