When last we left Miss Britney Jean Spears, she was hitting the road for a comeback concert tour and getting cozy with her agent, Jason Trawick, even talking about a third marriage. But now it appears that Britney is exploring her options, and that as a way to snag a man, she had her people set up a fake model casting to lure pretty boys into her sticky web. Hey, it worked for Andy Roddick!
We thought things were getting serious with Britney and Jason, but the relationship has reportedly cooled off lately, and in the interest of variety, Brit went on the hunt. Her intended gentleman friend is a comely lad named Bekim Trenova, who works for Ford Models. According to the New York Daily News, Britney's handlers contacted the agency and asked him to come audition for a music video. "When he got there, there was no camera crew," a source told the NYDN. "There was just Britney. She was looking sexy. She made it pretty clear that she was less interested in hiring him than in dating him." Matchmaking: The New National Pastime?
Unfortunately, the gambit didn't work out as well for Britney as it has for modelizers past. "Bekim found the whole scene very weird," the source says. "He was polite but not interested. He made some excuse to get out of there." Britney's people have denied the report and Bekim issued a terse "No comment." Maybe our girl should get some tips from Tom Brady and Pam Anderson on attracting and keeping a fetching catwalker for one's own pantsless pursuits. Robert Pattinson Would Prefer To Date Models?
