Jennifer Aniston recently referred to herself as the poster child for the single girl who's unlucky in love, but lest we forget, she once was married to Brad Pitt. Celebrity Love: Jennifer Aniston, Single Girl Poster Child
Jen's been a superstar at dealing with Brad's relationship with Angelina Jolie—her unshaken Oscar speech with Brad and Angie in the front row, telling Oprah that she's overcome the painful breakup—and now she's stunning us with even more grace toward her ex.
Indeed, she claims, there are no hard feelings between them. Starpulse reports Jen as saying,
"In contrast to what people say, Brad and I have a very cordial relationship. I admire him a lot for what he is doing to help other people and I think he is an extraordinary actor."
This week low-profile blogs like Taranga have rated that the quote of the day, and some commenters on the Web are praising Jen for making such a statement, considering what she went through when Brad left her for Angelina after they fell in love filming Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Haters, meanwhile, are telling Jen to stop using her comments on Brad for publicity.
Could that be it? She's currently filming The Bounty, scheduled to release this year, with Gerard Butler. Sources have linked Jen and Gerard romantically all summer, and despite reportedly being caught holding hands this weekend in New York City, the two claim they're not an item, meaning Jen is still single and keeping our ears perked about her love life...and her film release with her hot Scottish co-star.
Or maybe this is a chance for Jen to get on Brad's radar when things in his life aren't going keenly for once. We noticed he's packed on a belly recently. Plus, this past weekend he and Angie took trips separately from each other, and reportedly Ange has given Brad an ultimatum to stop smoking hash or get out.
Yikes, sounds like trouble in Hollywood Darwinist paradise...but, let's face it. In Hollywood as in life, what goes around comes around. We always kind of figured Jen would get the last laugh.
