I HAD ONE BF ALL HE WANTED TO DO WAS TEXT. THE OTHER ALL HE WANTED TO DO WAS EMAIL. WHATS WRONG WITH PICKING UP THE PHONE !
I can see if the guy is someone who works in the semiconductor industry or who is constantly traveling for his job, but even still the good old method of actually using your phone to call their significant other to me seems like a given. Then again I see people at work, in the supermarket, doctor's office, on the street, basically everywhere...texting.
Personally, I never saw the appeal of it. While I know there's more to the issue than it appears for face value, if a person isn't willing to call their partner why on earth would you want to be in a relationship with them? Hell, if they trained their pet to punch keys on their phone you'd never know the difference. (hopefully this would not be the case)
While I'm not against technology, the fact 'texting' has become a legitimate problem in interpersonal relationships clearly signals how some people have devolved.
i've been dumped via text... sucked a big one! made me feel like i wasn't signifigant enough for this person to at least give me the decency of a phone call? yah i'm pathetic
