Kim Kardashian, concerned that her sister Kourtney's pregnancy had momentarily deflected the entire world's attention from herself, traveled to New Orleans last weekend and made an effort to reconcile with her ex-boyfriend, Saints running back Reggie Bush. Sources say the two were "all smiles" at dinner on Monday.

Kim, who is famous for having a big ass and a sex tape, and Heisman Trophy winner Reggie announced in July that they were going their separate ways after two years of dating that included Kim picking out her own engagement ring. At the time their reps said that infidelity was not involved, but that the couple's busy schedules were a problem. How To Make Long-Distance Love Work

So it makes perfect sense that Kim would attempt a reconciliation during the NFL preseason, when Reggie is going to be, you know, really busy. (And also in Houston, where the Saints are holding training camp, not New Orleans.) But maybe they're just enjoying spending time together without any expectations of long-term. EOnline's source says the couple is "taking it day by day. They're not sure what the future holds, but they love each other enough to give things another shot."

It's looking more likely that the July breakup was possibly just a break for Kim and Reggie; just days after the split, she was telling Bossip that she was sure they'd get back together. Although given how sports marriages (her mom and Bruce Jenner's excepted) seem to go, maybe that's not the best outcome for anyone. Keep him away from jailbait country singers, Kim!
