It's that time again, another season of Dancing With The Stars is set to kick off and there are a few wrinkles to this year's cast, as always. The huge surprise this year was the inclusion of The Hammer. Not MC Hammer (though that would make sense), but former Speaker Of The House Tom DeLay (Republican, TX AKA "The Hammer") is to be included with this year's Stars.

Missing from the show shall be Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott. According to Limelife.com, the couple is "too busy" to appear in the dancing, reality competition extravaganza. Rumor had it that the couple was set to compete with each other Season 9 of Dancing With The Stars but something got in the way… life. Per reports, Tori was happy to let Dean "I make the ladies scream" McDermott participate, though he was left off of the list of competitors.

In addition to having two small children, Tori Spelling has her own reality program (the Tori & Dean franchise), guest spots on 90210, probably a book or two in the works, periodically marrying homosexual couples and a time-consuming feud with her mother Candy Spelling to keep her busy. Other additions to the male Stars include: Chuck Liddell (former UFC heavy), Michael Irvin (another NFL star, once stabbed someone with a pair of scissors), Donny Osmond (he has really white teeth), Aaron Carter (likes to go to bed early), Ashley Hamilton (ex-husband of both Shannon Dougherty and Angie Everhart), Louie Vito (pint-sized pro snowboarder) and Iron Chef honcho Mark Dacascos (let's get it on). The lady Stars are headlined by Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina!), Natalie Coughlin (Olympic swimmer, Maxim cover girl), Kathy Ireland (modeling legend, entrepreneur, author, habitual smiler), Macy Gray (crazy-haired, fashion-sideward, scratchy-voiced songstress), Kelly Osbourne (Jack's sister, Ozzy's daughter, Sharon's headache), Debi Mazar (comedienne who equates obnoxious with funny less successfully than Kathy Griffin, recurring role on Entourage), Mya (R & B singer with a perfectly pierced nose, you may know her for the collaborations "Lady Marmalade" and "Ghetto Superstar") and Joanna Krupa (attractive Polish woman).

Maybe next season Tori and Dean will have their priorities in order and the ducks in a row and let America have what it really wants: civil war. Anyone else that you'd love to see on DWTS? Jon Gosselin, mayhaps? We don't get enough of that guy, do we?
