7 Men We'd Like To Date

At least once in our single years. Are you with us?

Being single affords you the chance to get to know all sorts of people. When you're not in a rush to find "the one," you can enjoy learning scads of new things from the men you date. You don't have to limit yourself to types who fit the specific criteria of what you're looking for in a life partner. We encourage all singles to date as many different types of people as pique your interest and curiosity.

We're not saying you have to settle down into a serious relationship or get intimate with every man you date. We are saying: Don't let the opportunity of expanding your perspective and horizon pass you by. These are the men we'd all like to date at least once during our singlehood years.

A…Fireman. This is ultimate civic-hero type. He's strong and a wears a protective suit because his job is so dangerous. Plus, he rides around in a big red firetruck saving lives and homes and cats that get stuck in trees. This no-fear gent boldly looks death right in the eye every time he heads into a flaming out-of-control fire. And he puts his life on the line in the name of protecting other people's loved ones.

A…CIA Agent. Think Bond. James Bond. This secret-agent, sleuth-type can be trusted with the nation's secrets and has all sorts of MacGyver-type moves up his sleeve. He's resourceful, smart as a whip and a rapid-fire judge of character. You may not know what the heck he really does every day, who he is dealing with or the burden of top-secret information swimming around in his noggin. But you'll enjoy helping him take a break from the heaviness of his work.

A…Chef. A man who has been trained to cook professionally and is concocting new taste sensations every day in the kitchen? Score. We'll have an order of that. A chef is a man who is creative (ever dreaming up new food and spice combinations), sensual (a man who can take pleasure in the textures and tastes of food understands the power of the senses) and skilled with his hands (he can mince and dice like nobody's business). Plus, every women adores a man who not only can cook but actually enjoys cooking.Dating A Single Dad: What It's Really Like

Here I was thinking I wanted to date a man who was respectful, considerate and whom I could laugh with. Silly me...

So, a women shouldn't want to sate the educated, successfull business guy who is moving up the corporate ladder and takes vacations every year to new exotic out of the country locations, is stable, but maybe a little too predictable?

BTW, none of these guys, besides maybe the CIA agent and Piolet, really make any kind of money, but I guess, good looking, exciting and dangerous are better, is that what this is trying to tell me. Boy was I wrong to aim for a 6 figure salery.

I don't care what a man makes but he had dang sure better be able to spell. Pretty sure that is also a requirement to getting a 6-figure 'salery'.

And any guy who is way too focused on money probably doesn't have much else to offer.

Actually, you're kinda missing the tone on this one ai3di. Think of this as kind of like "7 Women We'd Like To Date - at least once in our lives."

Kinda like:
1) The Cute Librarian - Are they really just repressed bundles of sexual energy of cosmic proportions, waiting to show you what porn star sex is really like?

2) The Sexy Kindergarten teacher - Nuff said.

and so on...you get the point.

Its not about purposefully dating these guys as marriage material, but dating them for the fun and experience of it.

Also, while your workplace ambitions and desire to get a 6 figure salary are really excellent indicators of how goal oriented you are and how capable a provider you are, be careful to not place all of your personal stock in them. What is the fun of working all the time to get a wonderful woman in your life and then never have any time for her because you are working all of the time?
