Why Kristen Stewart Won't Meet Robert's Parents

By all accounts we've gotten from the ComicCon crowd, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart obviously are still hot for each other. They've spent the summer apart but reunited last week in San Diego...and created quite a stir among the geeks with the evident electricity between them. The Twilight Cast In Love At Comic-Con

And while Kristen shrugged off an audience member's question about whether the two are an item, according to Osoblog, the latest rumors suggest that Kristen is about to meet Robert's parents. While it may seem the natural next step among us R-Pattz tongue-waggers, the report doesn't appear to be completely accurate.

First of all, we remember the statement Robert recently made about being sick of American girls: he's so over us that he's been reported as saying that as soon as he finishes filming Eclipse, he's jetting back to London to lay low from fans for awhile. Meantime Kristen is Jetting too. She'll continue filming The Runaways in Los Angeles for the coming weeks, playing the role of rocker Joan Jett. We've done the math (and dated a few British babes of our own): London to L.A. is approximately a 10-hour plane ride, making it pretty unlikely the pair will get much time together, let alone to meet the parents.

Also, this sounds like old news: Kristen already has met Rob's fam when they celebrated his May 11 birthday together in Vancouver. It sounds like Mum and Pops Pattinsons took a shine to ol' Kristen, as a witness said that they were "all smiles."
