LeAnn Rimes And Husband Are Separated

It seems that Leann Rimes is finally getting the answer to her most famous and pressing question: "How do I live without you?" The answer: quite easily.

Friends close to the singer/actress have told People magazine that she's been living apart from her husband, Dean Sheremet for "quite some time now."

But, despite rumors that LeAnn has been having an affair with her Lifetime made-for-television movie co-star Eddie Cibrian for months, her friends insist that her cheating was "not the cause" of the split.

"There have been issues brewing for months prior to meeting Eddie on set," one explains.

The friends don't elaborate on what the issues are, but we can't help but think they might include: the fact that LeAnn comes with all the baggage of a former child star, the high divorce rate for couples that get married at a young age (LeAnn was only nineteen when she married Dean), and the reports that she has out-of-control stalker tendancies.

As for the future, does this mean that Leann and Eddie can finally take their affair to the next level (especially now that Eddie is also separated from his spouse)?

LeAnn's friends say not quite yet.

"Le and Dean...they're continuing to try and work through their relationship."

We'll see how long it takes for them to work it all the way through to the very end.
