Janet Says She'll Step In As Kids' Mom
Janet Jackson's breakup already in hindsight as she steps forward to take on care of Michael's kids.

Her breakup from Jermaine Dupri was announced just late last Friday, but Janet Jackson is not allowing her heartbreak to get in the way of her future and her devotion to brother Michael's kids. The Reason Behind Janet and Jermaine's Split
According to Limelife, early this morning a report came out that Janet is willing to take on full care of Michael's children. Michael's spiritual adviser has endorsed the move, saying that while Michael's will named his mother Katherine Jackson and Diana Ross as legal guardians in the event of his death, he also said he wanted Janet to care for the kids if anything should go wrong with the other two. Because the children have taken so keenly to Janet in the weeks since Michael's death, she has said, "I love them and I'll step forward to raise them if this is what they want." Apparently Janet tells people that she adores the kids as if they're her own, and they have responded very strongly to her.
The prospect may solve several concerns that have surfaced for the Jacksons over the last few weeks. If you've been following our reports, you know of the rocky and unclear custody debate that's occuring between Prince and Paris' biological mother Debbie Rowe and Katherine Jackson, who currently has temporary custody of the children. Reports suggest that the custody decision between the two parties swings between an amicable agreement and a shady money deal, but if Janet steps into the mother-role, maybe it will resolve worries over the children's well-being and future for both sides. Also, at 43 years old, there's no denying that Janet's not getting any younger. Sources close to the Jacksons are saying that she's a stellar maternal figure, but after her split from longtime love Jermaine Dupri last week, this may be her single chance at momhood.
