Demi Moore is not a person who sticks to convention (remember her sweet neon Billy Idol in St. Elmo's Fire?). She got pregnant, painted and naked for her Harper's Bazaar cover. She shaved off all of her hair for her turn in GI Jane. She got topless (and perhaps pant-less) in Striptease for $12.5 million. And she dropped super cool Bruce Willis for the quite younger (and prettier) Ashton Kutcher.

This time around, she's decided to go with a little Mohawk action. While Mohawks for white guys lost a touch of their cool with advent of the Faux-hawk (and the growing irrelevance of punk music), for women and black dudes, the look really works (especially when dyed and/ or spiky).  No surprisingly, the Twitter-meister himself, Ashton Kutcher (his Twitter), put photos of wife Demi Moore with Mohawk on his TwitPic page. Ashton Kutcher digs the look as his wife is one of few women who can famously pull off crazy shaved looks (a couple others include Natalie Portman, Rihanna). But when was her coiffure shorn and spiked? (We know the Espy awards from the 19th were filmed on the 15th and she could have buzzed it up after the taping. Or even worn a wig while she presented Michael Phelps with his male athlete of the year award.)

But something seemed a bit fishy about the whole episode. And it appears that Ashton Kutcher punk'd us all again. The whole "Demi Moore has a Mohawk episode" was a stunt using Photoshop.

We suppose this teaches us to automatically believe stuff that we read on Twitter or to check back for the inevitable "J/K." Have any of you been sucked in by a celebrity prank?
