Debbie Rowe Honoring MJ's Custody Wishes

It's reported that the Jackson family has requested another postponement in the custody hearing over Michael Jackson's children Prince, 12, Paris, 11 and Blanket, 7. 

The hearing, scheduled first for early July and then postponed until today, has been rescheduled by the Los Angeles Superior Court yet again for August 3.

In the meantime, Limelife reports that Debbie Rowe and Katherine Jackson appear to be stepping closer to agreement over the guardianship of the three Jackson children. Michael reportedly willed the children to be raised by his mother in the event of his death, and it sounds like Debbie Rowe and the Jacksons are operating within those wishes.

Yesterday a story surfaced suggesting the custody debate is being settled out of court. The private talks appear to be amicable, and there have been no reports of malice between the two parties.

These reports of harmony between Debbie Rowe and the Jacksons fly in the face of last week's conflicted developments. Debbie Rowe blasted the media for saying that she was demanding $4 million to allow the Jacksons to have the children with the clause that Joe Jackson, Michael's father, would have no role in their care. Apparently the payoff was just a big rumor, and Debbie sued a friend for slander for going to the media with alleged emails in which Debbie stated she wanted the Jackson's money but didn't want the children. Debbie's lawyers also wrote a letter requesting that some news organizations retract their reports on that "false" claim. They stated that Debbie intended to handle everything in a respectable manner toward the Jacksons and the children, and that she wanted the deal to be resolved in financial accordance with her divorce agreement with Michael. Debbie Rowe Blasts Media For Custody Payoff Rumors

So what's behind yesterday's new buzz? If indeed this thing is happening out of court, there's been no mention of how much money may be involved. However this time it sounds like Debbie has no plans to challenge Katherine's request for full custody, while other sources are going so far as saying that Debbie and Katherine plan to "team up" to raise the children. A lot of the reports we hear seem to want to stir up drama, but it sounds like in the custody "battle" over Michael's kids, Debbie Rowe and the Jacksons are in cooperation and control.
