Who Is Hailey Glassman?

I'm going to start this with the assumption that you have been living under some kind of bridge and are not aware of just what the eff is going on with Jon & Kate Plus 8. Let me re-cap: the golldern train has run off of the rails. Kate Gosselin's a crazy. Jon needed out. The 8 are terribly upset. Oh and Jon Gosselin has burned most of whatever good will he'd accumulated with the nation by having a mildly trampy girl-on-the-side (and likely on top and underneath, buh-dum-pah). By the way, I'm playing catch up on this whole J & K + 8 sitch because I'd like to understand more of the jokes on Chelsea Lately.
The gummah's name is Hailey Glassman and we want to know just who the hey-hey she is.
What we know: Her name is Hailey Glassman. She has blonde hair. She is thin. She has been arrested for drug possession. She may or may not have dabble in Saphism (what woman under 30 hasn't?). Her dad is the plastic surgeon whom tucked Kate Gosselin's tummy. Her haircut leans towards symmetry and away from A Flock Of Seagulls. She is a smoker. What we don't know: Why is she dating Jon Gosselin? How long has she been dating Jon Gosselin? Does she want to be on televison? How does she feel about kids? How does she feel about 8 kids? How many trucker hats and sunglasses combinations can she come up with? Is there anything that we can rhyme her name with that people would watch on television? Is she ENGAGED to Jon Gosselin? If she is engaged, is she really rocking a $180,000 black diamond skull engagement ring?
The bottom-line is that Hailey Glassman is ten years Jon's junior (he's 32) and the two are having a grand old time (possibly with reality TV money). Maybe they are engaged. Maybe she did scheme to get Jon (God knows why) when Kate was getting her tummy tucked by her (Glassman's) dad, presumably the Dr. Glassman. Only time will tell if this stint with J-Goss is genuine, a shot at fame, revenge against her dad or revenge against Kate Gosselin (I prefer to wait for the universe to dish out my comeuppance).
And she evidently isn't terribly familiar with some of the privacy features of Facebook (note: if you are photographed with anything that looks like the pot can be smoked out of it, make that picture doesn't end up online unless it's very private or you work for High Times). On the other hand, lots of her peers (like the Gosselins) seem ready to trade their right to privacy for their right to publicity, so why the hey-hey not?
Anyone out there no anything about young Hailey Glassman? She seems like fun, right? Also, anyone out there know when Jon got to be such a badass? Nice chopper, brah.
