David Beckham Keeps Knickers On With Angelina
Becks denies Armani ad, and will not be having intercourse with women who are not his wife.

David Beckham recently put to rest rumors that he and Angelina Jolie would be costarring in some new Armani fragrance ads, but he did so in a strange manner that implied his wife, Victoria, had had a few things to say about Angie getting anywhere near her man.
"You know she wouldn't do it and I wouldn't do it," Beckham said, about, remember, shooting some photographs to sell expensive underpants. "At the end of the day, I wouldn't do it because I’m married." The New Hook-Up Hotspot? Work!
We think the fellow doth protest too much. Notice no one said, "David, are you interested in taking some pictures with Angelina and then maybe having dinner and a cuddle?" And no one asked him if he had considered throwing over his wife of ten years (who, let's not forget, is a terrifying fembot who could destroy you with her shoes and then sic Karl Lagerfeld on your ass) for an actress who is in a committed relationship with someone else. No, those scamps at Extra just asked if it was true they might be selling some unmentionables together. So, okay, David.
In fairness, Beckham has been under quite a bit of stress lately. He's fresh off a controversy in which LA Galaxy teammate Landon Donovan told a Sports Illustrated writer that he didn't feel Beckham was as committed to the Galaxy's success as Donovan was. Beckham called Donovan's remarks "unprofessional," and now that he's rejoined the team after spending a season on loan to AC Milan, things in the locker room are undoubtedly a little tense.
Furthermore, angering Victoria isn't something anyone wants to do. Who can forget one of the most memorable moments in her 2007 chronicle of awesomeness, Coming to America, when Vicky B first met her new personal assistant. The hapless woman asked if she'd be assisting David as well, and Posh, fresh off the Rebecca Loos nonsense, snapped tersely, "Why? D'you wanna?" BURN. There is a reason that smart man stays close to home.
