Beckhams Spend $200k Celebrating 10th Anniversary

On July 4th, while we Americans celebrated the 233rd anniversary of our independence from Britain, two Brits (who have lived in America) celebrated their 10th anniversary as a married couple and their independence from living like normal humans. Soccer star David Beckham and his wife Posh Spice, or Victoria Beckham, visited an exclusive island in the Indian Ocean and dropped a reported £100,000 (roughly $200K). Privacy in paradise apparently comes at a great cost.

The specific locale was North Island, which is in the Seychelles, and was the location of the 2004 movie Thunderbirds. The couple was able to have more privacy than usual as their three children, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz were in the south of France being cared for by Victoria's parents. In addition to spending time alone, the Beckhams had a chef and a staff of 20 to take care of them, not to mention a powerboat and helicopter to play with. Read: Becks Gets 6-Inch Tat Of Posh

A source on the island described the couple: "David and Victoria appear so in love. They have gone on lots of romantic walks, holding hands like a couple of newlyweds."

It is good to hear that Posh and Becks are so in love after reports several years ago of alleged infidelity on his part. Not to mention that Victoria is finally joining her husband in Italy, which has been a point of contention in their relationship this past year.
