Sex Education Update

Contrary to popular opinion, sex education classes are a great way to help parents and children talk about sex.  Of course, it can be a bit of a shock when your teenager decides to bring up masturbation at lunch. 

Even more of a suprise was what my teen had to say - apparently only males masturbate.  The school showed them a video about male biology that included masturbation.  The video on girls said nothing on the subject.

So now I have to decide if I'm ready to be the Jocelyn Elders of the PTA.  I have permission from my teen to talk to the school so long as I don't mention him.  I assume it wouldn't be cool to make a big sign that says "Talk About Clitorises" and picket the school board either.
