Kevin Jonas is engaged to girlfriend Danielle Deleasa, reports People.com.

The oldest Jonas brother went traditional for the proposal: he got down on one knee and presented a custom-designed ring.

"She said yes, yes, yes like 500 times super fast in a row," Kevin said.

The bride- and groom-to-be are young—22 and 21 years old, respectively, and have been dating since May, 2007. Danielle didn't know who the Jonas brothers were when they met, and Kevin persued her—quite a change from the screaming fans who persue the Jonas clan wherever they go. Kevin is in the middle of a tour, and said "It was tough performing last night, knowing that I was going to ask the biggest question in my life to the most amazing girl in the world."

The Jonas parents are happy about their eldest son's engagement. "It is such a blessing that she will be joining our family," they said in a statement.

Kevin and Danielle haven't yet set a date for the wedding.
