Bruce Willis may still have feelings for his ex-wife, but according to him, that's just how he lives his life.

"Everyone can understand resentment and envy in the breakup of a marriage," Willis told W magazine in an exclusive interview, "but they don’t understand how I can get along with my ex like that. Demi and I made a choice to put the kids first, and we’re really lucky that it turns out we all have fun together. I still love her, and I have a lot of respect for how she lives her life.”

Demi's life, which we've grown accustomed to keeping tabs on via frequent Twitter updates from her very handsome and much younger husband, Ashton Kutcher, seems to be in perfect balance as well.

It's no surprise then that both Demi and Ashton were present when Willis married Emma Hemming, a lingerie model and British actress. Emma, Bruce claims, is the reason why he can't stop smiling and why he has a new take on life.

"I spent the last 10 years single and, for the most part, unhappy. In a dark place. I never thought that being with someone else was the answer. I would say, 'I'm alone, but I’m not lonely.' But I was just kidding myself." Read: Are You Too Single To Start Dating Again?

When Emma showed up, Bruce wasn't lonely anymore.

"I went from 'F--- love' to 'Love is truly the answer,'"

Emma already seems to be adjusting well to life with three new step-kids and an ex-wife who is still very much in the picture. Her acceptance of her new husband's close bond to his ex-wife doesn't seem to worry Emma at all, although we can't wait to see if she and Ashton share a play date duty while Bruce and Demi continue to evolve.
