Heidi Montag left the 'Lost Chamber' with a stomach infection.
NBC may have some explaining to do. Reports are conflicting from over the weekend about what really happened while Heidi and Spencer were confined to the "Lost Chamber" on I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here. The newlyweds were sent to the dark cave while awaiting a decision from the rest of the cast on whether or not they could return to the show after quitting.
Trapped in darkness, it sounded like Heidi and Spencer were just being messed with and in no real danger. But now reports are coming out that the duo really were in hell. Spencer's sister and fellow The Hills co-star Stephanie Pratt said that Heidi was rushed to a Costa Rica hospital because of a stomach infection. "She was throwing up 30 times with nothing in her stomach," she told E!. "She was really sick. She thought she was dying . . . I know they pulled such shitty antics but being treated like criminals or terrorists? It's insane!" Stephanie also says that producers were dropping spiders the size of Heidi's hands in on her through the pitch darkness.
While NBC is not commenting on what went on, ITV Studios, the producers of the show deny any wrongdoing. And insiders are saying that Speidi were not treated like they were in a torture chamber for the 14 hours they were inside. They say that they "slept most of the time" and when they weren't asleep they were laying side by side praying." The insiders also insist that there were no bugs and Heidi did not emerge vomiting.
Well the truth is revealed tonight on NBC when the episode of I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here, that reveals all airs tonight at 8pm. We know Speidi won't keep quiet about what happened. We also know this is probably just the beginning of their latest feud . . . Speidi vs NBC! Bring it on!
