Kelly Clarkson: Single, Curvy And Not Gay

By

Kelly Clarkson isn't gay and loves her curvy figure
Kelly Clarkson loves men and loves her body even more.
Listen up ladies. If you want to hit on Kelly Clarkson, go for it. The original American Idol will be so flattered. Seriously. But know this—she isn't gay. Though the tabloids love to say she is, Kelly truly doesn't care. Except for one pesky little problem. It's ruining her game with guys. "The rumors are not helping me on the dating front," she says. "I prefer the boys. I'm extremely flattered when I do get hit on by girls, and I think it's hot but I'm not into it. I like boys."  But even though she likes boys so much, Miss Independent is fine going solo for now. In fact, she prefers it. "I'm only 27, not 40 and still single," she said while promoting her new album in Australia. "I enjoy being single. I love work and I think people are so passive with relationships and I'm not that person." How To Be Single (Around The World)

And even though Kelly sings about the one who'd make her life suck if he wasn't a part of it but that guy doesn't exist right now. "I'm an extremist. I'm either in a relationship or I'm not. I'm honest about it and I'll tell people, it's just there's nothing to tell. I have a very good life." Kelly Clarkson's Never Been In Love, Not Into Kids

We give major props to Kelly Clarkson for her amazing sense of self and her incredible self esteem. Her dating life isn't the only thing she's had to defend. She's also had to put up with a ton of scrutiny throughout the years for her fluctuating weight. In Hollywood where "too thin" seems to wrongly be the norm, Kelly spoke out on that too. Despite the naysayers who think she needs to drop a few pounds, Kelly loves every last pound on her frame. "I love my body," she said. "I'm very much OK with it. I don't think artists are ever the ones who have the problem with their weight. It is other people."

We think there are a few other stars out there who could take a lesson (or two, maybe three) from Kelly. She's proof you don't have to starve your way to happiness!
