Kim Kardashian Picks Out Own Engagement Ring

According to the gossipmeister Marc Malkin over at E! Online, the celebutante (celubutard in some snarkier circles) Kim Kardashian is about ready to get engaged. In the two years that the big-bootied one has dated NFL star Reggie Bush, there has been no shortage of wedding and engagement rumors. This time around, though, the words come straight from the horse's mouth, in regard to picking out her own ring, "It's just easier. Isn't it easy if someone's like, 'This is exactly what I want.' It'll make your life so easy."

It's a sound policy. As is sandbagging costs, per the Marc Malkin interview, Kim Kardashian told her Heisman Trophy-winning dude that the ring she wants will run him about $20 million. The thought being that it would be a massive relief when he only has to spend $19 million (or whatever 2 months of an NFL salary is).

It remains to be seen if Double K (AKA The Tush) is actually going to get hitched to Reggie Bush. It seems like he's not exactly up for all of the reality show shenanigans that the extended Kardashian family involves themselves in (Kim and sisters Khloe and Kourtney star alongside their brother, Robert, half-sisters Kendall and Kylie and mother, Kris, and stepfather Bruce Jenner on the E! program Keeping Up With The Kardashians and her stepbro Brody Jenner has graced television in such MTV hits as The Hills, Princes Of Malibu and Bromance). And we'd imagine that just because he puts a ring on it, that she'll probably be loath to curb her made-for-TV exploits.

Then again, she's already had a sex tape, a Playboy spread, a large-ish role in the spoof film Disaster Movie and an appearance on Dancing With The Stars, she may have filled whatever void she has with all of the publicity, notoriety and adoration that those exploits afforded her. That's the ticket!
