Jon & Kate & The $10 Million Dollar Divorce
The TLC couple is worth more than you think and ready to fight for every penny.
According to The National Enquirer, those close to Jon and Kate say they’re heading for a nasty $10 million divorce. "Jon is going to push for half of their money, but Kate is determined to hang on to as much as she can — and they're worth more than you think."
The couple earns a reported $75,000 for each episode of their hit show, Jon & Kate Plus 8, in addition to the $20,000 they pull in per each speaking engagement. Read: Marriage: It's All About The Money
If that's the case, things will be heating up at the Gosselin quarters quicker than TLC can say "Show me the money!"
The season 5 premiere landed record ratings for the network. Approximately 9.8 million viewers tuned in to watch the show's highest ranked episode ever. "I have a lot of anger," Kate admitted as the cameras rolled. "Jon's made some very poor decisions and we all have to live with them."
One thing that seems to have also been decided is when the couple will divorce. "Jon said their goal is to be legally separated by July 15 because Kate wants to move on quickly," an insider told The National Enquirer.
Who Kate is planning on moving on with is anyone's guess. The bodyguard? The babysitter? The next Bachelor?
The other question on everyone's mind is will the couple televise their divorce proceedings. Can we expect TLC to slide a couch inside the courtroom and snag a few confessionals on the sidelines?
"The show's ratings have grown consistently, as there has been interest in these real-life issues of this real-life family," TLC said in a statement to E! News on Wednesday. "We will continue to air as the interest continues, and the family wants to do it."

You know what America STOP WATCHING! The fact that this show is still on the air with all of the controversy surrounding these two angry, bitter parents for the love of god what about these poor innocent children. Both of these parents are so blinded by the money they cant
see the forrest for the trees. Let them provide for these children the way the rest of Americans do and stop embarrassing themselves and emotionally paralyzing these children
Yeah...they're gonna need every penny for counseling those kids when they get older...it's really sad that they didn't give any thought to the kids in this whole thing....each "parent" (and I use the term VERY loosely) wants money for himself and herself.
i'm pretty sure by putting their family through the stress of fame, and having their entire life televised for all to see, it helped no one and nothing. except, apparently their bank account.
perhaps they should step out of the limelight and try to live their life together simply and normally!

go for a massage to take away th stress of parenting and media
they need support
plse be supportive to them
they have 8 lovely kids that need a mum& dad
i will suggest they go for divorce bcos the kids will suffer
they will have heartaches n their happy lives will end .
