Sean Penn and Robin Wright Not Divorcing?
Actor calls backsies on split. Again.

Sean Penn has filed papers to halt his divorce from his wife of thirteen years, Robin Wright Penn, People reports. This is the second time Sean has changed his mind about splitting from Robin. "It was an arrogant mistake," he said.
Spicoli and Princess Buttercup, er, Sean and Robin, who have been together since 1991, separately initiated divorce proceedings in December 2007, but reconciled five months later, and she accompanied him to February's Oscar ceremony, where he received his second statuette, for the Harvey Milk biopic Milk. Sean famously didn't thank Robin in his acceptance speech, which some saw as a slight. And rumors have flown lately that he has been seeing Natalie Portman, although she has denied the reports.
The couple filed for a legal separation involving minor children—they have two sons, Dylan and Hopper—last month, but this week asked a Marin County, California, court to withdraw the filing. Penn's rep confirmed that the proceedings had been halted. Robin has been in the south of France, where she is serving as a jury member at the Cannes film festival, for the past two weeks. While we are quite happy for Sean and Robin that they've worked out whatever was going on, they're going to have to actually get divorced and remarried if they want to be a latter-day Liz Taylor and Richard Burton.
