A Girl For Freddie And Sarah Michelle Gellar?

No, they haven't actually made an official announcement about their baby-to-be's gender. And yes, we are still four months away from said baby's delivery date. But if Star Magazine and their "exclusive" story are to be believed, Sarah Michelle Gellar and her husband of seven years, Freddie Prinze, Jr., are expecting a girl.

According to Star's source, the five-months-pregnant former vampire slayer was recently overheard gushing about the gender of her baby-to-be. The reported gushing took place on the New York set of her new HBO pilot, The Wonderful Maladays. Having A Baby Improved My Sex Life

"Sarah's so excited, she's having a hard time keeping it a secret," the source says. "She's been letting little details slip here and there."

Among the details? That Sarah's been spending all her spare time designing the nursery in her and Freddie's Tribeca apartment, and that when it's done, "the room will look sophisticated...nothing too frilly or princessy."

If the Gellar-Prinzes are indeed expecting a girl, it will be the second female Buffy offspring in six months, following the birth of Alyson Hannigan and Alexis Denisof's daughter, Satyana, on March 24.

Of course, pending an official announcement from Sarah or Freddie, we will take this news with a grain of salt. Knowing Star (masterminds behind such stories as "Was Rihanna Pregnant When Chris Beat Her?"), we can only presume that an extra on the set of The Wonderful Maladays spotted Sarah, or more likely Sarah's stand-in, glancing at something of a remotely pinkish hue in the past few weeks and promised to tell Star all about it in exchange for a $50 cashier's check.
