Kate Gosselin Spills About Struggling Marriage
Plus 8 saga continues as Kate hopes she and Jon return to happiness.
In a recent interview with People, Kate Gosselin admitted that her marriage to husband Jon has been shaky for the past several months. "I don't know that we're in the same place anymore, that we want the same thing," she said quietly. "I've been struggling with the question of 'Who is this person?' for a while."
The reality show celeb has often been accused of treating her husband terribly on TLC's hit show, Jon and Kate Plus 8. Recently, photos of Jon and 23-year-old Deanna Hummel surfaced when the two were seen exiting a night club . . . late at night, leading many to accuse him of having an affair.
"I remember where I was the first time I heard her name," Kate explained, "It's one of those things where you can try to make it go away, but there's blaring, red flashing lights."
Not sure exactly where the lights are—maybe surrounding Deanna's name? Maybe the location where she first heard the name? Either way, Kate doesn't seem to enjoy the fact that her husband might have been having an affair. Which, to be fair, was only confirmed by Deanna's shady brother, and denied by all other parties.
Still, the allegations have thrown more fuel onto the apparently already burning Gosselin marriage forcing Kate to actually envision life without the father of her children. "You can't imagine yourself in a certain position when all this first happens, but you can do it over some months," she says. She went on to compare imagining her life without Jon to getting used to the idea of sextuplets during pregnancy. It seems just a few months of thinking can prepare you for anything.
But Kate remains steadfast in her belief that her family can stay intact. "I will never give up hope that every member of our family can be absolutely happy again." Well, if she just wants everyone to be happy, then her dream of staying together might not be in the cards. One thing does seem certain. AS the the premiere of the show's fifth season approaches, there seems to be no stopping juicy Gosselin gossip from finding their way into the tabloids.

Jon Gosselin just can’t keep his name out of the tabloids. The father of eight has been accused of cheating on his wife Kate for the second time in the past few months. Jon and Kate are TLC’s big money maker, as their show Jon and Kate Plus 8 is an addiction for people like myself. However, I don’t think anyone could have predicted that Jon would find himself in this kind of predicament again. She and her husband Jon documented their struggle with their 8 children, since then, they have been getting a lot of press. Because of the TV show, they may not hurt for a no fax payday loan, but the family struggled prior to the TV show. Let us hope that they never need debt relief, and that Kate Gosselin can get a break.
