A filmmaker is paying people to auction off their virginity on camera.

Guess what. Contrary to everything the church, the Bush administraton and Jessica Simpson have told you, your virginity is not priceless. No, dear hearts. There is a price that can be put on it and that price is $20,000. Plus a film role. Plus 90 percent of the highest bid when your virginity is auctioned off to the masses. Or so says an Australian filmmaker.

Justin Sisely, who is currently recruiting virgins to—that's right—sell their virgininty on camera, believes his new documentary will show people just how valuable their untouched bodies are. How To Tell If He's A Virgin

"One of the main points I want to make is that, right now young people give away their virginity," he is quoted as saying in the Sydney Morning Herald. "Imagine if it was suddenly worth something. People wouldn't throw it away."

Sisley may be right. But only if said virgins aren't middle-aged, socially awkward wallflowers. Fortunately for him, those types don't even seem to be interested in his project. Of the 100 that have responded to his casting call so far, the oldest is 26.

In the end, he will choose only two virgins—one male and one female. The two will be filmed talking with psychologists and taking lie detector tests. As for the dirty dead itself, Sisley makes clear that, while he may enjoy orchestrating elaborate prostitution scenarios, he is not into making skin flicks.

"You can't deny that selling sex is prostitution. It is," he says. But the film is "not a porno."
