If only there was a way to stop that pesky biological clock from ticking. But tick, tick, tock it goes and oh, there went Holly Madison too once she realized her longtime lover Hugh Hefner wasn't down for a Playboy baby. "There has been lots of trying — lots of trying!" Holly told Usmagazine.com back when the couple was still together. But rumors swirled once the couple split in October 2008 that maybe Hef wasn't trying hard enough.
Now it seems the 83-year-old been hard at work trying to get Holly back.
According to Celebitchy, Hefner told Jason Binn, editorial director of Niche Magazine's Los Angeles Confidential, in his debut issue that he'd welcome Madison back with open arms because she is still the “love of his life.” Considering Hef was married twice before, first to Mildred Williams in 1949 and then to Playmate Kimberly Conrad in 1989, that's saying a lot.Playboy Recruits Wall St. Women
While Holly was quick to pick up with illusionist Criss Angel, the couple called it quits after only four months. Angel, 41, is half the age of Hefner but it seems fatherhood wasn't in the cards for him and Holly either.
The question now remains whether Hefner is willing to make room for a baby after all and win Holly back for good. His newest girlfriend, 22 year-old Crystal Harris, has already cozied up to the idea of life on Hef's right arm but according to Fox News, he's not so sure. "How serious, and intimate, and important that works out to be, well we'll have to wait and see because it's only a couple months old," Hefner said.
