Julie Chen And CBS Head Moonves Are Expecting
The Chenbot and her exec husband will welcome their first child this year.

CBS Early Show and Big Brother host Julie Chen is expecting a baby, she announced yesterday. Chen, who is married to the president and CEO of CBS, Les Moonves, told viewers of The Early Show that she is due in October and plans to keep working through her pregnancy.

"So it wasn't a big Sunday at the buffet table," Chen joked. "I'm starting to show now!"

Chen and Moonves have been married since 2004; he has three children from a previous marriage. Chen has been hosting the channel's version of the UK hit Big Brother since 2000, and attracted a dedicated Internet following for her occasionally robotic delivery and precise movements. Chen and Moonves reportedly think merchandise emblazoned with "Chenbot" is hilarious, and we agree, because that's the first step to becoming a Cylon, and Cylons are awesome.

In other adorable chubby baby news, singer and No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency star Jill Scott welcomed a son, Jett Hamilton Roberts, on Monday. The boy's father is Scott's fiancé, Lil John Roberts. Other drumming offspring include a second daughter for Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, whose wife, Jordyn, gave birth to Harper Willow on April 17. We hotly anticipate the playgroup all these mini-moguls and rockers will join in a few years; maybe the wee Chenling can play with Ellen Pompeo and Chris Ivery's kid. By then they should have worked out this whole cross-network rivalry thing.
