Ever since the invention of the automobile, cars and sex (and its more PG versions) have been intertwined. Who doesn't remember the movie Grease with all its vehicular sexual shenanigans in the back of Chevrolets while parked at the Drive-In, depicting a time more seemingly pure but just as risqué. Even Kate and Leo's sex scene in Titanic takes place in a car (on a boat).

In our own lives (and our own rides), we have all impersonated these scenes. In high school, if a room or bed couldn't be found, a car was often readily available. As we got older, maybe there was a certain thrill involved in getting it on in an almost public capacity. While most of these sexual encounters probably occurred in parked cars, there are many of us who have also attempted the tricky road hook-up as well. Maybe it was a long road trip, or we just felt frisky on the way home from a dinner party. 

However, all of these auto/sex adventures have to pale in comparison to what took place late Easter Sunday in Norway. What may have started as a little front seat action on the way home turned into a very expensive joy ride. Telegraph reported that the 28-year-old man was driving at 133 kilometers per hour (about 85 mph), while he and his 22-year-old girlfriend were having sex. 

Tor Stein Hagen, a superintendent with the district police described what he saw: "It was veering from one side to the other because the woman was sitting on the man's lap while he was driving and doing the act, shall we say."

The daredevil double-tasker will have to pay a very large fine and his license is suspended. Needless to say, while his sexual activities may not be contained to the bedroom in the near future, they will not be in his automobile.

So while we are always looking for reasons to steam up our car windows, when it comes to sexing and driving, don't let your partner get behind the wheel (or at least drive too fast).
