A decade after meeting on the set of Buffy The Vampire Slayer and six years after tying the knot in Palm Springs, Alyson Hannigan and Alexis Denisof have welcomed their first child, a daughter, into the world.

Named Satyana Denisof, the new addition to the family arrived in Los Angeles on March 24th, which also happened to be Alyson's 35th birthday.

"They're very excited," their rep tells People, "and mom and baby are doing great."

Alyson, who stars on How I Met Your Mother, and Alexis, 43, chose not to reveal Satyana's gender to the public during the pregnancy, but did openly discuss other details – including Alyson's gestational absent-mindedness.

"I have pregnancy brain," she said on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, "which I never realized was a thing but it is. I sort of feel like a Koala bear where I'm slightly stoned all the time and say the wrong word."

Other details they were forthcoming about included Alyson's opposition to Bruce and Dennis as potential baby names, her cravings for pickles, and Alexis's efforts to be an accommodating husband whenever her cravings struck.  

"If I bring the wrong ones home, she won't touch 'em," he told E! in November of his wife. "It has to be the exact right ones. They're the sweet, kosher pickles. They can't be the pepper, garlic or whatever—it has to be the right one."

You sound like a good husband, Alexis. And we only hope that you're as good at changing diapers as you are at selecting the pickles.
