New Dating Show For Plus Sizes

Brace yourselves. There's a new dating show lining up in the reality-series cue. It's Biggest Loser meets The Bachelor and you may soon find it on FOX, reports The Hollywood Reporter. The network has linked arms with the producer behind "The Bachelor" fame, Mike Fleiss, to flesh out the concept.

Fittingly called More To Love, the show will aim to encourage everyday women, who can't squeeze into size-zero skinny jeans (really, whoever thought of a size that screams you-are-nothing-and-don't-exist anyway?), to vie for love from one lucky, pleasantly plump man said to look like "Kevin James," reports FOX News. These contestants won't be sweating through any physical feats in order to attract the gaze of their sought-after man, though; the vibe is more Ingrid Michaelson take-me-as-I-am.

We're all for broadcasting a version of love that's accepting and unconditional. But puhhhhlease, can we call it quits with these ridiculously uneven male-to-female ratios? Really, we just don't get it. Time and time again it's one mighty man thrown into a sea of hungry shark ladies. From having one "Bachelor" who gets to pick from a lineup of Perfect 10s to three "Mama's Boys" who peruse a mansion full of leggy, eager women to two lone star millionaires sprung on a swarm of wine-sipping hopefuls. Why pit women against each other to fight over one man? There's just got to be more bachelor love out there to go around. Producers, can't you find a few more adorable, slightly pudgy bear-like men to cast in this new show of yours? Because really, picking one woman and dismissing the rest isn't what we call a love story at all. It's denial on display.
