There might be something to the rumors that Jennifer Aniston dumped John Mayer due to his obsession with updating Twitter because the singer is considering stopping his tweets altogether! Mayer said recently of the social networking craze, "I’m just goofing off, it’s silly. Isn’t it silly? Twitter is fun, but I’m gonna get off as soon it becomes like ‘Skippy Peanut Butter Presents Twitter.’ But for right now it feels sort of underground, but of course sadly it’s not that underground anymore."

We’ll see if he’s really serious about following through with this but then we would miss his funny updates. Just some advice, John: next time you're in a relationship, don’t put a social network between you. Just say what you need to say.
