Kenley Collins Arrested For Assault

We’ve heard of breakups and divorces getting nasty over a household pet but this is the first we’ve ever heard of using a household pet as a weapon in a fight. Project Runway alum Kenley Collins was arrested Tuesday for allegedly assaulting boyfriend Zak Penley with a laptop computer, three apples, a glass of water and the couple’s cat, Arlo. Evidently, the assault happened early Tuesday morning while Penley was sleeping, with Collins throwing the cat at Penley’s head, then with whatever objects she could find. Collins was taken away from the couple’s Williamsburg apartment that morning and spent the night in jail. She was released on Wednesday morning with charges of assault and criminal possession of a weapon (the cat) but without bail. She could face a maximum sentence of 7 years of convicted, according to authorities.

We hope this rash of violence stops because it's never really the answer. We’ll quote Collins' former Project Runway mentor, Tim Gunn: “Make it work, people!”
