Criminal charges filed and more details have come to light.
A quick update on the Chris Brown case: the singer was charged with two felonies Thursday in regards to the February 8th assault. We just reported that questions continue to arise as to whether or not the singer tipped paparazzi off to the location of his reunion with Rihanna in Miami this weekend and now it appears that the couple will have to deal with the criminal charges that have come from the allegations. Chris faces charges for assault by means likely to create great bodily injury and criminal threats and will be arraigned this afternoon.
More Disturbia details have become available in the case per a leaked police search warrant from that evening: Brown evidently tried to push Rihanna out of the car and hit her head on the passenger window. He punched her while driving and blood filled her mouth, according to authorities. Brown allegedly told her, "I'm going to beat the ---- out of you when we get home." Rihanna reportedly left a message for her assistant telling her that she was on her way home and to have the cops there when she got there. Allegedly, this caused Brown to reply, "You just did the stupidest thing ever. I'm going to kill you." The fight escalated from there and Brown continued to strike Rihanna, bite her ear and fingers and eventually put her into a headlock, which is what reportedly caused her to nearly lose consciousness.
Brown will be arraigned this afternoon. No reports are available as to Rihanna’s whereabouts at this time.
