Jen, John, Brad and Angelina: Oscar Buzz

We don’t normally get involved in the whole buzz over who might run into who on the red carpet but this might be the one time we’re interested in a possible crash course run-in. The blogosphere is all abuzz with speculation of whether or not Jennifer Aniston and boyfriend John Mayer will run into nominees Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.  See, we’ve gotten so used to seeing Brad and Angelina together and then separately watching Jennifer handle the red carpet by herself that the news that Aniston is taking John Mayer has us speculating whether or not there’s a potential for a run-in on the carpet.

We imagine their PR people will keep their entrances timed properly so they never see each other but you’ve got to imagine this ups the ante a little. Who will wear what? If there is a run-in, we know they’ll keep it cool but this would be a first-time run-in for Angelina and Jennifer in public that we’re aware of, much less the first time since Jennifer made the “uncool” comment in January’s Vogue magazine.
