Swimsuit Models Destroy Men's Brains

A study out of the UK found yesterday that men are more likely to think of women as objects after looking at sexy pictures of females bodies. Uh, is this not an obvious fact? Am I totally outta line here? I don't really think so.

Studies found that sexy images not only shift the way men perceive women, they also found that constant viewing of these pics shut down areas of the brain linked to empathy for other peoples' emotions. Great.

So what does this mean for all us females? Susan Fiske, a psychologist at Princeton University in New Jersey, said that these images can can even shift men's perception of women from people to interact with, to objects to act upon.

So, that Sports Illustrated that was delivered to that guy in accounting yesterday, might just translate into sexual harassment today.

"When there are sexualized images in the workplace, it's hard for people not to think about their female colleagues in those terms. It spills over from the images to the workplace," she said.
