Aww! Even after two kids this couple is so adorable it hurts. Actress Jennifer Garner made a surprise appearance last night as her husband, actor Ben Affleck, at the Children Mending Hearts Gala at L.A.'s House of Blues Wednesday night.  After Affleck finished giving a speech about the conflict in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, a cause evidently dear to his heart, he stepped aside to allow Anderson Cooper, the evening’s Humanitarian of the Year winner, to accept his award. As he returned to his table, Garner, who slipped into the event without anyone knowing, was sitting there waiting for him with arms outstretched and kissed him multiple times on the cheek. She departed 20 minutes later very quietly, where Affleck stayed a little longer and then followed her out.

Now, see, this is what we’re talking about! She knew this was important to him and she came to the event to support him for just a little bit. It’s the little things in life that make all the difference, people.  Take a note from Garner’s playbook and make a little gesture of love with your significant other. You never know how much a small gesture can mean to someone.
