A source claims, "He got a booty call. He got a text. Rihanna saw it and she got upset. They started to argue. She got out of the car. He wanted her to get back in, so he grabbed her. She pulled away. That's when she's told people he hit her." Other sources claim that Brown threatened to kill her during the altercation and that he choked her until she lost consciousness. An inside source stated that at some point in the argument, Rihanna threw the keys of their rented silver Lamborghini onto the street where Brown had brought the vehicle to a stop in Los Angeles’ Hancock Park area. Brown flew into a rage, evidently struggled to find the keys in vain, came back into the car, put his hands around her neck and, according to the inside source, said, "I'm going to kill you!" The inside source states that Rihanna told police that she lost consciousness and when she awoke, Brown had fled the scene.
As we reported earlier, Rihanna sustained multiple injuries in the attack, including contusions on either side of her forehead, a split lip, bloody nose and various bite marks on her person. The singer was treated and released for her injuries at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Sunday evening. Sources say that while her family is on the way from her native Barbados to be at her side and a close female friend is looking after her, Brown has reportedly tried multiple times to contact her and she isn’t taking any of his calls. Brown has otherwise kept a low profile after he was booked on felony criminal threats and released on $50,000 bail . As of right now Brown and his attorney, Mark Geragos, have refused to comment on the case.
Again, we are shocked and saddened by these reports and continue to be deeply upset by the violence of the situation. We hope Rihanna continues to recover surrounded by family and friends and if these reports are true, if she never sees his face again, we won’t mind either.
