| DO YOU GIVE HIM A PRESENT OR NOT? |
I agree with Lyz. I view present-giving like I view saying "I love you" -- it's not reactive. I give presents because I want to, because it's a way to show I care, and I don't expect anything in return (not even a little bit!) But yeah, anything more than, say, $30, or of great weight (e.g. those stupid "love keepsakes" -- don't get me started on those) might freak him out. |

As long as it's something small and simple under $30. I don't see why he should be freaked out. A bigger present, then I could understand the freaking out. But something small and sweet. That just shows that you are thinking of him. I think calling would make too big of a deal about it. The more you freak out about it, the more he will feel like its a big deal. I would just pop by. Hand it over to him. Give him a kiss and continue on your business. |

I have been seeing my friend for about 7 months. Its Christmas and I have planned to give him a present along with my delicious cookies I baked. I have noooo idea if he is going to give me a present. We never said or even discussed this. Its a new relationship and I don't want to scare him away. I just am confused. I feel Christmas is for giving and thats how I am. I could care less if I get a present but I wonder too if I would make him feel bad. And should I call him first or just go over there?
