The holidays are a great time to take a break from the BIG ISSUES. I tell my husband to go easy on teasing me over the holidays (he is a big teaser ;) and when he does it is easier for all of us. And he tells me things he doesn't want me telling his mom and brothers (i.e. the time he left his crap out on the floor and I broke my toe). Just setting these boundaries helps a lot.
