I never liked Match.com. I paid for it twice and only met about 3 guys TOTAL over the course of almost a YEAR being a member. NOT WORTH IT and now they make you pay if you access it from your cell! RIP OFF Eharmony is a joke. All the quizzes you take so they can match you up to your suposed SOUL MATE do nothing but waste your time. I never met ONE GUY on that site. I love OKCUPID and PLENTY OF FISH. I met my recent honey on POF and met a ton of guys on Cupid. Cupid is lots of fun but don't get hung up oin the quizzes, you are there to meet someone. I met a few guys who JUST joined the site for the quizzes and it was annoying after a while to get all these IMs from guys who werent even serious about finding someone. |

OkCupid. It's free. The site design is smart, simple, and frequently revised. There are LOADS of entertaining tests (both webmaster and user created,) a selection of forums, a personal blog that's attached to your profile, thousands of matching questions which generate a reasonably accurate summary of your personality, and a substantial dating pool (I live in a rural area, yet I can usually find eligible women who live no more than half an hour's distance away...) There is even a "Stalkers" list which shows you who has viewed your profile recently, although it's possible to disable this and browse anonymously (the caveat being that you won't be able to see who has viewed YOUR profile (and the entire list of people who have viewed your profile in the past gets wiped) if you choose to go invisible...) I've been part of the site for five years now. I've watched it constantly evolve into something bigger and better. I've had some very amazing days and nights, all thanks to this site. I'm not even sure that I'd have a love life to speak of, were it not for OkCupid. Highly recommend. |

I try not to spend money on dating sites. Currently I am a member of OkCupid.com. I like how the site is made, you can do tests made by other users/members, you can do a quick match, and they match you by %lover, %friend, %enemy. It is all determined by buy the (never ending) match questions they ask you (because someone always comes up with a new one to add.). |

I have been so busy the past few years that i have gone into online dating....i have tried alot of different sites...eharmony, perfectmatch, match.com, plentyoffish, hotornot, OBC, yahoo personals....but i have to say that out of all the ones i have been on i landed the love of my life on Chemistry.com. When i signed up the price was pretty steep...so i lingered on free just to see the prospects they had to offer me...the fact that supposivly you are matched according to compatibilty had me skeptical but what the heck. So after a month i liked what they had to offer and decided i was going to try it for a month. i figured im looking for a relationship and if someone has 50 bucks to shell out maybe they are too....I have since met the man that makes me whole. |

It's no secret that I've reviewed an almost infinite amount of online dating sites (find them all here on YourTango)! There really is a niche dating site for everyone, with any interest. While these highly specific sites may be perfect for die-hard enthusiasts, I would recommend that average well-rounded single for one of the bigger sites such as Chemistry.com or Yahoo Personals. Using a niche site may do more harm than good by limiting the pool of potentials. |

It seems like there are as many online dating sites these days as there are daters to use them. Can you make a case for a particular site? Why is this one better than the rest? What if you're late-20s? In your 40s? Please advise!
