Cosmopolitan UK just released their 25 Sexiest Men list and it looks like some things do just keep getting better with age.  Johnny Depp was named Sexiest Man Alive by the magazine, with George Clooney and Jake Gyllenhaal running close behind.  Women around the world would most likely tend to agree, especially Depp’s domestic partner,  model/actress/singer Vanessa Paradis, who has been quoted as saying, “Yes, okay. Half the world would like to be with my boyfriend. More than half the world, in fact”.  If you’ve ever been in a relationship with a really good-looking guy, you know that it can sometimes be really tough and a bit unsettling to think that everyone wants to get their hands on your man.

According to Depp, Paradis has nothing to worry about.  The two, who have been together since 1998, have two children and are just as committed as any other married couple, with Depp stating, “Marriage can be whatever you define it as. For example, I don't feel like I need a piece of paper that says I own her and she owns me... The thing is, if you are together and you love each other and are good to each other, make babies and all that, for all intents and purposes you are married.”  If you look at other long-term couples who have had similar relationships like Goldie Hawn/Kurt Russell and Susan Sarandon/Tim Robbins, maybe a domestic partnership is just as married to some people as a wedding and certificate is to others.
