Solo Vacation

Should I take a vacation alone? Is this a looser move or perfectly normal?

Its nice when my wife takes a little getaway by herself. When she comes back she seems to appreciate me a little more, plus I'll hire someone to clean the house while she's gone and that always makes her really happy.

I hate traveling alone. There is no one to share your fun with. But I usually go with a friend. I hate to travel with the people I date. What if it doesn't work out? Then I have all those awkward pictures. No thanks.

I love getaways with my girlfriends. I make sure I take my good vacations with people who are life-long friends or family. I know they are with me forever and its a great way to build memories.

Normal! I love going on vacations alone. I got to Seattle alone all the time.

On one hand, I'd say what the hell are you going to do: wander a city alone? On the other hand, if you are looking to meet new people, traveling alone might give you the push you need to reach out to new people. It depend on whether you like being alone or whether it makes you feel lonely. Personally I love to travel alone, loser-move or not! That way you get to do everything you want and have no obligation to cater to anyone's needs but your own!
