The dudes over at The Superficial are reporting that Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford got a little frisky during the filming of Star Wars: A New Hope (which is the first film made in the series but Episode IV in the Star Wars universe’s chronology). Fisher said that she went into the filming thinking she was "going to have an affair." Fun! The Superficial makes some nice jokes involving lightsabers and Sarlacc pits to put things in perspective for hardcore Star Wars virgins (like George Lucas).
Evidently, more details will come to light when a special about the filming of the iconic movies debuts. But is this really a shock that Ford and Fisher did the business? Honestly, you can't fake dialogue like this:
Princess Leia: I love you.
Han Solo: I know.
And there was exactly as much feeling in reading that line in your head as the actors emoted in the film. Ford has said that he wished he hadn't taken that role before (though they were appreciably better than Hayden Christensen and Natalie Portman). Maybe he really wishes that his proton torpedo never entered the Death Star's exhaust port. What? God bless Carrie Fisher's crazy ass. Maybe she would be willing to officiate at our Jedi-themed wedding.
