Anne Wojcicki & Sergey Brin

Sergey Brin, one of the most eligible bachelors in Silicon Valley, is now off the market, but what we love is that he found his equally tech-forward bride, Anne Wojcicki, the old-fashioned way: via a set-up by her sister. (In fact, not only did Susan Wojcicki, Google’s Vice President of Product Management, introduce Brin to his future wife, she once rented him space in her garage to serve as headquarters for his little-search-engine-that-could-and-did.) Now it looks as though the newlyweds, married quietly  last May in the Bahamas, intend to keep business a family affair. This year, biotech analyst Wojcicki’s start-up, 23andMe— founded to “help you make sense of your own genetic information”—launched with a little help from  Google & co: The company chipped in $3.9 million, and Brin personally provided his wife with a $2.6 million loan. Now that’s trust.

On This Sandbar, I Thee Wed: The couple’s top-secret nuptials were so cloak-and-dagger, guests had no idea where they were going until they reached the chosen island. Then, the besotted techies swam to a sandbar to exchange their vows—in wedding-friendly (white for her, black for him) swimsuits.
