Britney Spears and Kevin Federline reached an amicable divorce settlement Thursday, including a custody agreement over their two young sons.
The estranged couple spent five hours at the Los Angeles offices of the star's lawyer Laura Wasser, along with Federline's attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan.
Michael Sands, spokesman for Federline's lawyer, says, "The parties signed a global settlement on all issues of their marriage and the custody of the children."

Hmm and wow. Evidently, Britney's love for K-Fed did not delude her into going into this thing with out some protection (though clearly not birth control, judging by their two kids). She had Federline sign a pre-nup and his pay-out is roughly $1 million. Since his take was so low, these had to be the lowest earning years of her career. Possibly he was to blame. At least he gets visitation and partial custody rights to the kids, things could get pretty weird for them without his grounding presence.
