The iPhone Marriage Proposal
An enterprising reader of the tech site Engadget proposed to this girlfriend Doris by making a fun little iPhone commercial. Rumor has it she said yes. This pretty much eliminates any chance of us getting engaged any time soon. All the clever ideas have been taken. We’ll just have to do it old school, someone gets pregnant and someone’s dad insists, shotgun-like, on an expeditious wedding. Maybe we could double up with Britney’s little sister. The iPhone commercial proposal is a pretty good one. We rank it slightly ahead of the digital street sign proposal, pretty far ahead of the jumbotron proposal, waaay ahead of the text message proposal, but slightly behind the cut crops proposal, and about on par with the customized singing telegram.
