I'm glad that you have successfully determined that all of America's problems are due to our middle-American, lower-IQ'd conservatives. This kind of thinking will surely eradicate all of our social concerns. What's the solution? Round them up and shoot them?

This just in - Middle Americans make up the majority of Americans, and especially the ones that vote. I know this must be hard for you to believe while sitting in some Canadian coffee house listening to Alanis and drinking fair trade mocha, but people with conservative beliefs are not all stupid. And sometimes, social issues have two sides. Universal health care has many pitfalls, even you would admit that. As for gay marriage, we have many communities with strong religious beliefs that strictly forbid this practice. Who is the government to tell these communities that they have to conform to a national standard? I support gay marraige 100%, but I also support other people's right to a different opinion. I certainly don't label them all as lower-IQ'd, but that's because I have an open mind. Maybe you should too.
