About Blair Nicole Nastasi
Blair Nicole is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), CEO of an international PR agency, and proud San Diego resident. She's also a freelance writer, enthusiastic mental health advocate, and self-proclaimed force to be reckoned with.
Blair launched her PR agency in 2010 when she was a broke single mom who had just lost her job, her home, and (arguably) her mind. Since then, she'd led her agency to new heights, and has had the opportunity to be featured in Forbes, Entrepreneur, HuffPost and more.
But, Blair is more than just a savvy businesswoman—she's a world traveler, wife, mother, and mental health enthusiast. She holds an MA (Masters) in Counseling Psychology, is registered as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) in the state of California, and has worked work clients in a clinical setting providing trauma therapy and addiction recovery therapy.
Blair wholeheartedly believes that exploring the world, both internally and externally, can transform lives. She also practices what she preaches; for the past 5 years, Blair has been on a journey of self-discovery, healing from complex trauma. She's drawn strength from therapy, her clients, writing, and reconnecting with her true self.
Blair has personally and professionally reaped the benefits of various therapeutic modalities including: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFR), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Blair's personal goal is to dismantle stigmas, raise awareness, and foster a world that embraces compassion and understanding for those navigating the labyrinth of mental health.
Blair has also served the mental health community in various volunteer capacities over the past decade. She served on the Board of Directors for a peer-led support group for people who had lost someone to suicide from 2015 - 2019. She also facilitated groups and hosted events for a 700+ person group of women recovering from addiction in San Diego.
Blair hopes that by sharing her journey, she will inspire meaningful conversation around important topics, and perhaps help others feel less alone.
